Boels Zanders advises on the acquisition of Hesdo group by consumer electronics manufacturer Commaxx International

Netherlands-based Commaxx (head office) manufactures pick-ups, radios and other consumer electronics, inter alia under the Lenco and Trebs brands. Hesdo with branches in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (The Netherlands) and Antwerp (Belgium) has brands such as Alecto, Fysic and Profoon. The acquired company has a range of some 600 products including phones and baby phones.

CEO Bert Peels of Commaxx is enthusiastic about the acquisition: “Where Hesdo is strong in the Benelux, Commaxx is also strong in the rest of Europe.”
