Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation has acquired Dutch Filaments BV, a leading manufacturer of 3D printing filaments in Europe via wholly owned Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers Europe BV, a regional headquarters for its performance polymers business in Europe. The transaction has been realized on the 1st of March.

About Dutch Filaments BV

Dutch Filaments started their operations in 2014 and has quickly developed to be one of the major global players in producing polymer-based filaments for the 3D printing industry. They have a wide range of customized high-quality filaments based on their technologies and know-hows in manufacturing and material design. The new site with over 70 employees in the Netherlands will strengthen Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers businesses as a supplier of materials in the innovative sector of 3D printing.
