Flip Schreurs specialises in corporate litigation, insolvency law, and restructurings, with an emphasis on corporate and shareholder disputes. Flip is a member of both the mergers and acquisitions team and the insolvency and restructuring team.

He has acted as the trustee in countless bankruptcies, including those of Favini paper manufacturers, roller coaster manufacturer Vekoma, the Dept fashion brand, and real estate developer Lips. Flip is also regularly involved in proceedings before the Netherlands Enterprise Court of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.

Flip studied civil law in Utrecht and tax law in Leiden. Afterwards, he completed specialised training at the Grotius Academy in Insolvency and Corporate/Business Law, as well as specialised coursework in Financial Economics at Erasmus University.

He is a member of the editorial board of the Dutch Insolvency Law Journal [Tijdschrift voor Insolventierecht]. From 2014 to 2020, Flip was a board member and chairman of Insolad (the Dutch Association of Insolvency Lawyers) and a member of INSOL Europe, the Corporate Litigation Association, the Commercial Law Association, and the Corporate Mediation Association. Flip has been a lawyer since 1989 and has been working at Boels Zanders since 1995. He became a partner in 1997.
