Lodewijk Hox specialises in insolvency & restructuring. He is an experienced adviser and litigator in this field. Lodewijk assists and advises companies in difficulty on processes like bankruptcy, suspension of payments and offering a composition to creditors. He has also been involved in several bankruptcies as a trustee. As this suggests, he is very familiar with both sides of the ‘bankruptcy coin’. Lodewijk has been a Boels Zanders attorney since 2009, after successfully completing the dual master in Enterprise and Law. He has also completed the following postdoctoral specialisation courses: the CPO course Insolvency Law for Trustees (2013, cum laude), the Grotius specialisation course in Insolvency Law (2015), and Financial Economics for Trustees. Lodewijk is a member of Insolad, the Dutch Professional Association for Insolvency Attorneys, and sits on the Insolad Best Practices Working Group, which is working to rewrite the rules of practice for bankruptcy trustees.
